Dua Lipa (born in London) is an English artist and singer. She was born on 22 August 1995 in London United Kingdom. Her self-titled debut was released in 2017, after she been signed by Warner Bros Records. It reached third place at the top of the U.K. albums chart and had eight singles, including the U.K. top-ten song New Rules and Be the One. I.D.G.A.F. Lipa was awarded the Brit Awards for British Female solo artist and British breakout act in the year 2018. The album was rated platinum worldwide. Future Nostalgia Lipa is set to release her third studio album, Future Nostalgia Lipa in 2020. This is how you can commemorate Dua's day of celebration. Dua Lipa, born to Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa A Rexha Lipa and Dukagjin Dukagjin in London, was born on 22 August 1995. Through her maternal grandmother, she has Bosnian descent. Her ancestors are also tracked back to Peja, the Kosovo cities of Peja. Lipa's grandparents were both historians. There are two sisters, Rina and Gjin. Lipa was influenced musically by her father who was the guitarist and singer in the Kosovan rock group Oda. In the family, her father would continue playing music which included his original compositions as well as songs from David Bowie Bob Dylan Radiohead Sting The Police and Stereophonics. Lipa began singing at the age of five. When she was nine, she began to learn how to sing. Lipa has performed a cover of Ain't Got You as well as Beautiful from Christina Aguilera and posted it on YouTube. Lipa made her debut record contract in 2014 through Warner Bros. Records. In August of 2015 her first single New Love came out.
